Bakkhali is one of the best places for all these. Not a huge number of people go there very often. The crowd is limited. You can enjoy your privacy in the beach as well. As the crowd is limited you will never found dirt on the beach like food skin, empty bottles but natural elements.

Bakkhali is 130 KM away from Kolkata. You can go by bus, by car, by train anything you want. But there is no way to dodge Namkhana on the way. The hotels are very near to the beach. Government and private, both kinds of hotels are available. Few hotels have fantastic view of the sea. Few hotels can provide only the sea roar. But one thing that every hotel can provide is a fantastic living experience along with food. The varieties of food are not available in Bakkhali. No multi cuisine restaurants are available at the place. You can only have Bengali foods along with sea fish dishes.

Local people are very helpful. The population of local people is medium. Fishing and tourism is the primary occupation for the local people. They run hotels, restaurants. They do fishing on a regular basis. Few people ride motor vehicle for the local transportation.
