After a hectic day of work, if there is any place that you can call your own that is your home. A proper interior is always needed for better living. But it is not always simple to design the home. According to vastu it is tough to design the interior. It needs expert suggestions and calculation to place the design or the indoor elements correctly in a home.

The basic vastu designs are noticeable or suggested are:

• The main entrance door must be facing north east direction. The main door should be composed of good quality wood. Door must be thicker than other doors of the house. Some interesting design can be done on the door in the front side so that it looks very attractive and enhance the beauty of the house. Attractive color can be added on the door or it can be polished simply polished to enhance the veins of the wood. The natural beauty is unbeatable.

• Nowadays designer shoe racks are available that looks beautiful inside home. It is totally covered and does not allow the dirt to come out and spoil the beauty. The shoe rack must be facing south west according to the vastu. It must not be kept inside the bed room.

• Designer almirah has taken the market throughout. Wooden almirah had a craze always. Steel almirah with interesting colors is also a style statement. Nowadays lighter materials are used for almirah. These elements give the opportunity to make the almirah of different shapes, sometimes the desired one. Light in weight. Easy to use. More spacious and stylish. It can be customized according to the space in your house. But it is better to keep the almirah at the south east corner of the room.

• Beds are the most important element in the bed room. It is said that beautiful bed means beautiful bedroom. Designer beds are available nowadays. Colorful multipurpose beds like folding or with drawers that is not only for good looking but also useful too. The bed must be kept towards south east side but should not be kept in the corner. It is said that south east zone leads to better sleep and health.

• Couches and sofas always increase the appearance of the drawing room. It is not only for the look but also for comfortable and style statement. Designs and colors are really attractive that gives a good contrast for the eyes. Couch must be placed in south or west.

• The dining room must in the east, west or south portion according to the vastu. Pink or orange shade of wall colors may increase the appetite. It is good if the dining room is considered as a extension or continuation of the kitchen.

• Mirrors must be kept or hung in the north and east walls. No mirror should be placed in the study rooms and in the opposite of the bed in the bed rooms.

• White, dark green and light blue colors are very good for the walls. It helps in psychological positive energy.
